Geoff spent many years working as a teacher and in training and assessment, before taking on office management. Geoff brings his administration skills to LifeFM in his role as Secretary. He enjoys active involvement in several community organisations. Geoff is a Board Member and Treasurer for Bendigo Winter Night Shelter, and Parish Secretary of St Mary’s Anglican Church. Geoff has always felt close to God, recalling the example set by his parents and others as a child. It was in his early thirties that he chose to be baptised, making a confirmation of his faith.

Married to Elaine, with three wonderful adult children and three adorable grandchildren, Geoff says he has felt increasingly driven to serve others with the gifts God has given him. In Memory of Peter Stanton

Peter Stanton

Life FM President &
Managing Director

Peter studied Theology at Ridley College, Melbourne University. He served as a Lay Preacher, Church Warden, Church-Council Member and Anglican Synods man. His Board positions have been of the Anglican Radio, NSW Council of Churches, the Program Committee 2CH, Tanglewood Counselling Ministry, and Hope Media (103.2FM).

Peter’s Radio and TV career spanned over 65 years and two states:

  • Melbourne: 3DB, ABC:3LO, 3AR and Radio Australia, plus Christian TV.
  • Sydney: Anglican TV, 2CH, Hope103.2 and CEO Anglican Radio.

He was blessed with 3 adult children and one beautiful grandson.

We quote Peter as saying: “Radio is a seed-thought medium reaching, by the Holy Spirit’s power, deep into a person’s heart and mind, planting the amazing seed of the Word of God.”

And we find his focus for LifeFM in Ps 105:1: Give praise to the LORD, proclaim His name; make known among the Nations what He has done.
