Katie Meadows

Katie Meadows

Life FM Vice President

My day-job includes human resource management and I have 3 beautiful young people in my life, as well as my husband Rod.
I have been involved with Life FM for a number of years and in a number of volunteer roles.

My favourite thing to do is seek out the messages of God and I like to bring some small gems of these truths to my show each week.

I believe in the power of the message of Life FM and am privileged to be a part of the journey.

Geoff Young

Life FM Secretary

Recently retired after many years as a teacher, then trainer/assessor and more recently office manager, Geoff enjoys active voluntary community involvement with a number of organisations. Currently, Board Member/Treasurer of the Bendigo Winter Night Shelter; Parish Secretary of St Mary’s Anglican Church, Kangaroo Flat; and volunteer at Kangaroo Flat Primary School.

Married to Elaine, with three wonderful adult children and three adorable grandchildren.

Geoff was baptised and confirmed in his early thirties. He’s always felt close to God and now reflects on how much he has to give thanks for when he considers the example set by his parents and other cherished family members.

He has felt, in more recent years, increasingly driven to serve others using God given talents; and to invite others to come with him on the journey, as he puts it, of following Christ, our Saviour.

He firmly believes that God has led him here and looks forward to the challenges of this new role, as Secretary of Life FM.

Jono Phillips

Jono Philips

Hi my name is Jonathan Phillips. I’m 41 years old and live in Maiden Gully. I have had a long interest in Central Victorian Gospel Radio as far back as the caravans on the mountain having answered phones and co-presented with Ian Nicholas a couple of times and of course listened over the life of the station.

My brief bio: I was raised in a Christian family and came to accept Jesus as my own Saviour at the ripe old age of 4. I was baptised at about 12 yrs of age and have attended Baptist Churches most of my life. As a family we have attended Kangaroo Flat Baptist Church for the past 9 years and was on staff there as Associate Pastor for the past 2 years. I have recently finished my role there and we are currently on a pilgrimage around several different churches in Bendigo just to see what God is doing.

Having moved around the country a bit with my work as a Paramedic I have enjoyed Christian Radio Stations in various locations and saw a real need for a positive and relevant Christian Station in Bendigo. I was delighted when LifeFM came on the radio full time. My family has the radio locked on 105.1 in the car and love the music and presenters – some whom they personally know.

I would love to be involved in a deeper way and now having a bit more time having finished up at KFBC can see that this would be something positive to engage in moving forward. Radio is such a great medium both locally and globally reaching such a broad cross-section of people. I see really bright things in the future for LifeFM and would love to be part of it.

Susanna Warner

Susanna Warner

Susanna grew up in the Mallee. From an early age, she committed to following Christ and later a calling to be a nurse, her career beginning in Bendigo. Over the years, she has lived in many places but loves being back in Bendigo with grandchildren and husband John. She frequently travels Overseas visiting her daughters and

Susanna works in mental health. She believes the Christian community has a lot to offer people struggling with mental health: positive input, including music and words, is vital to inner well being.

Life FM, she believes, helps to foster a sense of community and helps people to be connected in our individualistic society.

Elia Swift

I am married to a wonderfully supportive husband and mother to our two beautiful adult children. My name means: “The LORD is my God”.

I love the fact that we have a dedicated Christian Radio Station
here in Bendigo. As a Music-lover, I first began volunteering @ 105.1 LifeFM, helping Ray Shaw, our Operations Manager, collect and type up lyrics for our Station’s music Playlist. However, I now volunteer in maintaining 105.1’s garden with my enthusiastic fellow-volunteer Emmett Wright.

I worship at A Reasonable Christianity, as part of the Worship team; I’m also involved in its Pub-Church and teach Sunday School.

I’m part of the Program Subcommittee which oversees the Music and Spoken-word content of the LifeFM.
